COMMITTEE PURPOSE
The principal purpose of the NABS Marketing and Fundraising Committee ("Committee") shall be to undertake those specific functions and responsibilities listed in this Charter and such other duties as the Board shall from time to time prescribe. All powers of the Committee are subject to the restrictions designated in the NABS Bylaws and imposed by applicable law.
The Committee, supports the mission, vision, and goals, of NABS by designing and implementing strategies, and providing planning and oversight for the NABS' overall marketing, brand recognition, and fundraising initiatives by:
- Forming and maintaining relationships with Dive Industry organizations, businesses and the public through effectively deploying a continuous program of public awareness, promotion and education regarding all NABS programs, services and activities.
- Identifying and securing multiple sources of monetary and non-monetary support, as well as support for the various fundraising strategies. The Committee oversees NABS fundraising activities.
- Attracting sponsors and partners, to raise funds for ongoing and new NABS projects and programs.
- Assisting NABS, its various Clubs and affiliate organizations in effectively bringing in more financial resources to support of its mission and goals.
- Bringing expertise to the process of effectively marketing NABS, its rich resources and services to its various constituencies. The Committee manages and runs all campaigns for NABS
